I can remember Jaws (the original), Dances wth Wolves, Alien (1, 2 and 3) and The Abyss were all better reads to the original film release, However, the special editions of all of them went back to the books and made such a lot of difference IMO

His other earlier books are great as well! I mean, King is one of my favorite authors, but I’ll never forget how he captured me with Carrie.
